What happens in counselling session ?

In the initial session we will discuss what you hope to gain from sessions and whether and how we might work together. You may wish to focus on a specific problem or feel generally dissatisfied with the way your life is going or you may simply wish to find out more about yourself . We will discuss and agree the focus for our work and how long we will work for. This will be open to review at any time.

The process of counselling psychotherapy can support anyone to gain a greater understanding of events that have occurred or are occurring in personal or professional lives and to make better decision on how to move forward in life in a way that feels comfortable and safe.

Counselling provides an opportunity for us to reflect on how you are living your life, who you are, what you do and what you feel in the present and how this might be related to your past experiences.
